Manama, September 12 (BNA) The Governor of the South, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, visited the British ambassador today. To Bahrain, Roderick Drummond, to offer condolences on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali and His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Ali offered their condolences and sympathy to His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, President of the Commonwealth, as well as to the Royal Family of the United Kingdom, and the friendly British people. The Ambassador of the United Kingdom on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
They commended the legacy of the late Queen, and the key role she played in strengthening the long-established friendship and cooperation between Bahrain and the United Kingdom.
They also emphasized that the world had lost a great leader and a symbol of peace.
