Paris, October 15 (BNA) His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Affairs and Youth Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, followed up on the participation of the Royal Endurance Team in the 120 km race within the International Fontainebleau Championship in France.

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the Public Sports Authority and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, also attended.

His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, leader of the Royal Endurance Team, met the riders and instructed them to follow the technical plan developed by the team to achieve the goals of participating in the 120 km race.

He stressed the importance of gaining experience for young riders in light of the participation of elite knights from the world who have a proven track record in European participation.

He said, “The royal team achieved many goals in this participation, after a series of continuous achievements during the last period.”

A ceremony was held in honor of honoring the royal knight of ability Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al-Zayed, winner of the 160 km race, in addition to Mayouf Abdul Aziz Al Rumaihi, winner of the 127 km race, and Hamad Al Qahtani third in the race. a race.

During the ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Issa bin Faisal bin Rashid, who won the third place in the 100 km endurance race, was honored.

Sultan Abdul Aziz Al-Rumaihi competed in the 120 km race for juniors before falling in the last stage, a few meters from the finish line, without suffering any injuries.
