Manama, November 1 (BNA) His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, said that the positive results of the Spanish national team of Cordoba, headed by Bahrain, are a source of pride.
He said that the administration’s policies contributed to the leadership of the team, which was reinforced by its victory in the Spanish second division over San Roque 1/0.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser said that he was keen to support the team to continue moving forward with outstanding results in all competitions.
Cordoba leads the standings with 22 points from seven wins and one draw. The club made history last week by qualifying for the semi-finals of the FA Cup after beating Jerez 1-0 in the quarter-finals.
