Manama, Jan. 5 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, affirmed that the achievements of camel sport in Bahrain are a fruitful result of the continuous care of His Majesty the King. Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
In this regard, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Rashid Al Maktoum expressed his happiness at the success of the camel “Taghreed” by winning first place in the King Abdul Aziz Camel Festival in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Haq Bakkar Open category. His Highness also praised the success of “dangerous” for winning second place in the same race.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser indicated that the victory adds to the successes of the Bahraini camel sport in the external gatherings, and will be a catalyst for achieving more achievements during the upcoming competitions.
Taghreed won the race after clocking six minutes and 24 seconds.
