Manama, December 23 (BNA) His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Adviser, Commander of the Royal Guard and Secretary General of the Supreme Defense Council received a congratulatory cable from His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa first. Vice President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the Public Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee after the successful launch of the first joint Bahraini-Emirati satellite, “Light-1”.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid praised the close cooperation between the National Space Science Authority in Bahrain and the Emirates Space Agency, which reflects the historical ties and close relations between the two countries.
He added that this unprecedented achievement is the latest in a series of achievements made by Bahrain during the reign of His Majesty the King.
