HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad visits Banagas

Manama, December 8 (BNA): His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oil and Gas Holding Company (Nogaholding), paid a visit to the Bahrain Gas Company. Banagas).

His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa affirmed the continuation of efforts to develop the energy sector and place national companies in the ranks of international companies in this field, especially since the energy sector in Bahrain receives the attention of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He toured the third gas station project, which was inaugurated by His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister in 2019. It has a production capacity of 350 million cubic feet of gas per day to extract 374,000 metric tons annually of LPG liquids. It is part of the company’s expansion and modernization plans in the oil and gas sector and is considered the largest industrial project for Banagas.

Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad was briefed on the company’s achievements in the areas of safety, occupational health, environment, quality, production and social responsibility.

She has won many awards from international organizations, the last of which was the “Best Country Award” at the International Safety Awards 2021 from the British Safety Council in the United Kingdom among 32 winning companies and outperforming 391 of the largest participating international companies.
