London, May 12 (BNA) The Royal Endurance Team is preparing for the International Windsor Equestrian Championship, which will be held tomorrow in the outskirts of London, United Kingdom.

His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Action and Youth Affairs, will head the Royal Endurance Team in the 160-kilometre race.

The race will be held for the first time as part of the International Windsor Equestrian Championship as part of efforts to develop endurance sport in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Royal Team riders will also participate in the 120 kilometer race for the public, the 120 kilo race for the juniors, in addition to another race covering a distance of 100 kilometres.

His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa will participate in the 160 km race alongside Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Raed Mahmoud, Mohammed Abdul Samad Al Bastaki, Sarhan Humaid Al Anzi and Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Zayed.

The 120 km race for the public will witness the participation of jockeys, His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Salman Isa, Othman Al-Awadi, Hamad Issa Al-Janahi, Khaled Youssef, Nasser Al-Qahtani, Muhammad Abdul Hamid Al-Hashimi and Shahd Waleed. .

Issa Humaid Al-Enezi, Hamad Hilal Al-Khateri, Abdullah Hassan Al-Ruwai’i and Ahmed Khaled Al-Thawadi will compete in the junior 10 km race, while Muhammad Khaled Al-Ruwai’i will participate in the 100 km race.

The Bahrain Sports Channel will broadcast live the Windsor Equestrian Championship, as part of the Ministry of Information Affairs’ keenness to cover Bahrain’s participation in international sports competitions.

His Highness Sheikh Nasser, captain of the Royal Endurance Team, stressed the keenness to compete for the best sports, to reflect Bahrain’s equestrian steps, with the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
