The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak bin Dinah, Minister of Oil and Environment, Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, and members of the executive team of APA.
His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum gave an overview of the history of oil and gas developments in the Kingdom.
The two parties discussed potential opportunities for cooperation between Nogaholding and APA to improve existing oil and gas operations in Bahrain as well as potential for future exploration and development.
His Highness praised the positive approach shown by the two companies in the discussions and expressed the Kingdom’s readiness to work closely with APA to expand recoverable natural resources.
The expanded APA team was also welcomed by senior members of Tatweer Petroleum’s management team. The discussions between Tatweer Petroleum and APA dealt with various topics, including the geology and production history of the Bahrain field.
