Manama, December 2 (BNA): His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the Public Sports Authority and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, received Dr. Abdul Hussain bin Ali in his office. Mirza, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sustainable Energy and Sheikh Nawaf bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, CEO of the Electricity and Water Authority.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the General Sports Authority, and Dr. Abdul Rahman Sadiq Askar, CEO of the General Sports Authority.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa welcomed the attendees, and conveyed to them the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and His Majesty the King, his greetings to their organizations.
He discussed with Dr. Abdul-Hussein bin Ali Mirza and Sheikh Nawaf bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa their plans to support sports equipment by implementing development plans that contribute to supporting the sports system and transforming it into a professionalism to achieve more achievements and make space for sports. To play a major role in supporting the national economy.
Dr. Abdul-Hussein Ali Mirza directed to conduct further studies for the use of alternative energy in sports facilities and harnessing it to serve the sports sector in Bahrain.
He also commissioned the CEO of the Electricity and Water Authority to conduct studies to reduce electricity and water bills for sports parties to help develop the sports field.
