Manama, October 13 (BNA) The First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, visited His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Saar. The club was received by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Abbas Abdel Wahab Mohamed and members of the Board of Directors.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa also paid a field visit to Bani Jamra, where he met the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Abdul Majeed Ibrahim Mohammed, and members of the Board of Directors.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chairman of the General Authority for Control and Accountability, and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised the efforts made by Nadia Saar and Bani Jamra to develop the sports sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He praised their roles and dedicated efforts to hold events and participate in competitions, stressing the importance of motivating young people to practice sports.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa was briefed on the programs and plans developed by both clubs, which highlights the future vision aimed at enhancing the achievements that would consolidate Bahrain’s position on the map of continental and global sports.
