HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad meets Bahraini professional players

Manama, January 19 (BNA): His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Sports Authority and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, visited. Today, Elements Sports Club held a remote meeting with Bahraini professional players abroad.

The virtual session, which was held via video conferencing, was attended by His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Financial Supervisory Authority, and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Abdul Rahman Sadiq Askar.

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa received the ambassadors of sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and conveyed to them the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

He praised the honorable performance of the professional players in their clubs in the Gulf, Arab, continental and international sports arenas and stadiums.

He stressed their role in reversing Bahrain’s steps, adding that their professionalism shows the confidence of their clubs in the Kingdom’s players.

He urged them to play their role as sport ambassadors for the Kingdom of Bahrain and to continue their honorable performance within their clubs to achieve positive results and enhance the Kingdom’s position on the world sports map.

The professional players who participated in the virtual meeting are Abdullah Youssef (Slavia Prague), Ali Madan (Al Orouba – United Arab Emirates), Ali Haram, Abdullah Al Hazaa (Al Tadamon Kuwait), Yasmine Fayez, Hessa Issa and Hajar Al Ansari (Kingdom Club – Saudi Arabia), Hussein Al Sayad (Al Noor – Saudi Arabia), Hussain Ali (Justice – Saudi Arabia), Muhammad Habib and Ahmad Al-Maqabi (Al-Qadisiyah – Kuwait), Ali Mirza (Burkan – Kuwait), Ali Abdul Qadir (Kazma – Kuwait), Elias Al-Yasi (Rabat and Al-Anwar – Egypt), Muhammad Abbas (Red Star – Serbia), Anwar Makki (Ismaili – Egypt), Mustafa Hussein and Muzammil Amir (American universities – basketball).
