Manama, Jan. 25 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth, Chairman of the Public Authority for Sports and President of the International Olympic Committee, praised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s patronage of sports in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
This came during his reception today, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth, Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayyed, and Minister of Youth Affairs, Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiq, in the presence of the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors, His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Muhammad Al Khalifa, and the CEO, Dr. Abdul Rahman Sadiq Askar.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid congratulated the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and the Minister of Youth Affairs on their appointment, which will contribute to increasing support for youth and sports in Bahrain.
He stressed the importance of intensifying efforts between the Council, the Ministry and other competent authorities to develop the youth and sports sectors.
