Manama, July 27 (BNA) The First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, directed the activation of sports tourism through the development of a joint action plan between the General Authority for Sports and the Ministry of Tourism.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid stressed the need for more coordination and cooperation to launch more sports programs, host tournaments, conferences and sports exhibitions, as well as holding international matches, as the best way to stimulate sports tourism that will support the national economy.
