HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman approves scholarship plans for the ninth intake of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust

Manama, September 4 (BNA) His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Fund, approved today the scholarship scheme for the ninth batch of the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Fund. 2022-2023 academic year.


His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman highlighted the importance of giving priority to education as part of the comprehensive development of the Kingdom under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.


His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman also highlighted the Secretariat’s efforts in supporting citizens with opportunities in higher education, and providing students with diverse career paths to promote sustainable development.


His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman congratulated the recipients of this year’s grants, wishing them success in their educational journey and achieving their ambitions through higher education.


His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman praised the various bodies and institutions for their contribution to supporting the objectives of the secretariat.


On the occasion of the new academic year, His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman expressed his congratulations to the Ministry of Education and members of the educational, administrative and technical bodies in schools and universities, wishing them success in achieving the Kingdom’s wide-ranging goals in the education sector.


For her part, the Secretary-General of the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Fund, Dr. Mona Muhammad Al-Balushi, confirmed that a total of 70 scholarships have been provided for the academic year 2022-2023, and the beneficiaries will be contacted to complete them. The necessary procedures to activate their scholarships.

Since its establishment, the Isa Bin Salman Educational Charitable Fund has provided scholarships to a total of 316 students to study at 16 local universities and 4 international universities.
