Manama, Jan. 13 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Committee of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club, has received an honorary membership from the Jockey Club, in appreciation of his contributions. Horse racing and breeding.
This appointment sees His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman become the youngest living honorary member of the club.
His Highness joins a prestigious group of honorary members that includes His Majesty King Charles III and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
His Highness pointed out that this honor is evidence of the Kingdom’s position in the world of sports.
His Highness reaffirmed the commitment of the Supreme Committee of the National Kingdom of Bahrain to the development of horse racing and to strengthening Bahrain’s international position in this sector.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa became Chairman of the Authority’s Supreme Committee in 2018 and contributed to launching successful races and initiatives such as the Bahrain International Cup and the Bahrain Grass Series.
