HH Deputy Premier praises RCSI-Bahrain’s role

Manama, March 29 (BNA) His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Supreme Council for the Development of Education and Training, received today at Gudaibiya Palace the CEO of the British Royal College. Surgeons of Ireland (RCSI), Professor Cathal Kelly, and President of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland – Medical University of Bahrain (RCSI-Bahrain), Dr. Samir Al-Atoum, who briefed him on the academic and training projects and programs at the Royal College of Surgeons in Bahrain. .


His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister welcomed Professor Kelly and Professor Al Otoum, expressing his appreciation for the role that the Royal College of Surgeons in Bahrain plays in providing high-quality education that will enhance the quality of health services in the Kingdom.


His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak praised the programs of the Royal College of Surgeons in the fields of medicine and nursing, noting that they keep pace with global developments and contribute to the excellence of graduates of the Royal College of Surgeons from more than 50 countries.


Professor Kelly and Professor Al-Otoum thanked His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak for attending, praising the support that the Royal College of Surgeons in Bahrain receives from the government to enable it to achieve its goals.
