Heritage Festival Kicks off on April 7

Manama, April 6 (BNA) The annual Heritage Festival returns this year in its 28th edition, held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) will open Thursday, near Arad Fort.

The festival continues to present its activities during the period from 7 to 9 April, and from 14 to 16 April, from 9 pm to 12 pm.

The activities will highlight gold as an intangible Bahraini heritage, under the title “Our Golden Heritage”.

This year’s festival presents a program celebrating Bahrain’s intangible heritage, including traditional crafts, folk arts, and other events for all ages.

The festival also takes the audience into an integrated Bahraini cultural experience with a display of many traditional and modern products by Bahraini entrepreneurs, in addition to traditional cafes serving traditional local dishes and food.
