Manama, September 22 (BNA) The Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council and Deputy Chairman of its Board of Trustees, Dr. Sheikha Rana bint Isa bin Daij Al Khalifa, received the US Ambassador to Bahrain Stephen Bundy.
The Secretary-General praised the Bahraini-US relations and reviewed with the ambassador ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of education.
She stressed the importance of cooperation in education and scientific research in order to promote educational development.
The ambassador praised the council’s efforts in upgrading higher education.
