HEC Joins Tawasul


The Higher Education Council (HEC) announced its accession to the National Suggestions and Complaints System (Tawasul), in cooperation with the Information and e-Government Authority (iGA).

Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Secretary General of the Supreme Elections Committee and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Supreme Elections Committee, confirmed that the digital transformation of services is in line with the government’s commitment to providing innovative communication channels between citizens and government agencies. To support development in all entities.

She indicated the importance of this step, as part of the council’s comprehensive digital transformation plan to enable public participation by submitting proposals to enhance higher education initiatives, while addressing all comments received promptly, and quickly implementing applicable solutions.

Dr. Sheikha Rana added that the public can use Tawasul to inquire and provide their suggestions or observations related to HEC’s various services.

These include course equivalency for students of private institutions, standardized student placement, award of higher education numbers, certificates of enrolment, withdrawal and dismissal, visiting student certificate, research facilitation, approval of registration of postgraduate proposals, and certificates of academic qualifications issued by private higher education institutions.
