Manama, June 20 (BNA) Health Minister Dr. Jalila bint Sayed Jawad Sayed Hassan affirmed her determination to continue promoting the advancement of the health sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She pointed to the importance of joint coordination between all partners to achieve the desired aspirations and serve the country and the citizen.
She was speaking while receiving the CEO of public hospitals, Dr. Ahmed Muhammad Al-Ansari, and the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Health, Ibrahim Al-Nawadda, in the presence of senior officials in the health sector. She praised the role of the Health Council in developing the health system in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the continuous follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
His Excellency the Minister of Health stressed the importance of implementing the health insurance program, which is supervised by SCH, headed by Lieutenant-General Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. She pointed out the positive impact of the program in improving health services by granting freedom of choice to citizens and residents for health service providers.
For his part, Dr. Al-Ansari stressed the importance of joint coordination, pointing to the keenness of public hospitals to achieve integration between the relevant authorities in the health sector.
The attendees congratulated the Minister of Health on the royal trust, wishing her every success.
