Manama, August 15 (BNA) Health Minister Dr. Jalila bint Al-Sayed Jawad Hassan received today the Coordination Committee to commemorate Ashura, headed by Dr. Lulwa Rashid Shwaiter, Acting CEO of Primary Health Care Centers.
She said that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, is keen to further consolidate religious freedoms, making the Kingdom a model of pluralism, respect and tolerance in the world.
She praised the support and follow-up of the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
She expressed her thanks to the medical and nursing staff for their dedicated efforts that contributed to the success of Ashura. She indicated that the Imam Hussein Medical Clinic collected 500 blood bags to support the Central Blood Bank.
