Riyadh, October 22 (BNA) Health Minister Dr. Jalila bint Sayed Jawad Hassan chaired the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the eighth meeting of health ministers in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the 85th session of the Council of Health Ministers in the Gulf Cooperation Council held in Riyadh. On October 21 and 22.
In his speech, His Excellency the Minister of Health expressed his thanks and appreciation for the distinguished efforts made in organizing meetings and achieving common Gulf goals. She pointed out that the set of issues raised focused on developing pioneering health models in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to ensure the continuous development of the health sectors and achieve the desired goals and aspirations.
The Minister of Health pointed to the importance of continuing to strengthen cooperation in the health field to further develop the health sector in the Gulf countries.
The Bahraini delegation included the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Waleed Khalifa Al-Mana, the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Health, Dr. Maryam Ibrahim Al-Hajri, and the Director of Communication, Maryam Ali Al-Manaseer.
