Manama, October 13 (BNA) Health Minister Dr. Jalila bint Sayed Jawad Hassan met with Egyptian Minister of Health Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar on the sidelines of the Kingdom’s participation in the 69th session of the WHO Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean.
The meeting reviewed topics of common interest in the human genome, cooperation, exchange of experiences, and benefiting from the visiting doctor’s program.
The two sides discussed the latest developments in training, drug security, research and studies, in addition to the health insurance project.
Dr. confirmed. Great is the depth of bilateral relations and the importance of cooperation in various fields.
She commended the effective partnerships that exist between all countries of the region through the WHO Regional Office for the Eastern Mediterranean for the development of health systems.
The Egyptian minister praised the bilateral relations and the efforts made by the Kingdom at the regional and global levels.
