Manama, July 7 (BNA) Health Minister Dr. Jalila Sayed Jawad affirmed that Bahrain is taking its steps in developing and ensuring the sustainability of health services in light of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa with His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
This came as the minister chaired today the meeting of the National AIDS Control Committee, which was held in the presence of representatives of ministries and official bodies in the committee.
The Minister welcomed the attendees and congratulated them on the advent of Eid Al-Adha. She also thanked them for their support for the committee’s efforts and their dedication to better serve the country. She stressed Bahrain’s pioneering steps in combating AIDS in light of global initiatives in this regard. She stressed the Kingdom’s keenness to achieve the goals of the World Health Organization to limit the spread of the disease and to withstand its predicaments.
