A leading retail developer is seeking to hire a Head of Specialist Leasing to work in one of the most popular malls in the region.
Main responsibilities
???? Ensure the achievement of the general strategy to achieve the revenue budgets of the department.
???? To generate revenue for the place through short-term and online store rental to achieve the overall goal of the company
???? Add value to real estate by providing guest experiences that make their visit enjoyable and thus increase their stay time in each store
???? Build the brand by bringing new offers and products to market that will excite and engage guests.
???? Strategies to ensure that new and unique revenue opportunities are created to increase additional revenue.
???? Develop a strategy to create revenue streams through media and sponsorship across all entertainment hubs
???? Centralize sub-leasing and all third party lease management contracts to provide oversight and reduce risk.
???? To ensure that all approved processes and practices are observed and adhered to by the Department.
???? To provide annual projections and budgets for entertainment and leisure venues in general.
???? Develop an HR strategy to ensure that the right talent is hired for the team.

???? Responsible for executing management strategy by ensuring collaboration with Operations and Marketing in the search for new leasing opportunities and identification of opportunities to convert unused common area into income generating areas in line with overall strategy and direction.

Provide strategic presentation to senior management to obtain additional purchases of strategies with constantly changing market conditions.

Lead the specialist leasing team in achieving leasing and sponsorship objectives, by defining and marketing concept and offerings to companies/organizations/associations.

Responsible for sub-leasing within the UAE and the region. Ensure adherence to standards in all areas and standard operating procedures.

Development and leasing of international standard technical materials for sponsorship including: a brochure that includes:
Price tags, multimedia presentations, printed materials such as fact sheets.

Provide primary liaison with advertising agencies, marketing teams, retailers and suppliers for sponsorship, advertising and marketing programmes.
???? Identification, examination and appointment of suppliers/service providers as needed.
???? Ensure that all relationships with the care client database are up to date
???? Develop a warranty contract brochure.
???? Ensure that public communication with tenants and premises is effective and all parties are involved

Communicate requirements of tenants to the marketing and operations team; Overseeing the allocation of resources to Licensees and the fulfillment of requirements in accordance with the Contract, with the overall objective of ensuring that there is no direct conflict between the trade and current offerings of operations; As well as resolving any disputes that may arise from it.
???? To create sponsorship opportunities across operating recreational facilities in line with the events calendar as well as provide new potential business opportunities.
???? To prospect and negotiate income-generating programs from third parties in the short and long term, such as brands, promotions and sponsorships.
???? To identify new media sales opportunities across the business, and develop business plans and budgets to support the business
???? Develop and implement program guidelines to ensure there is standardization across all portfolios.

Generate routine and ad hoc reports (actual versus budget and projected quarterly income) detailing the financial elements of the leasing function, including comparisons of revenue, expense, and budget with a view to providing relevant information for the purpose of decision-making in the long and short term term strategies as well as creating monthly “dashboards” .
Drafting and implementing contracts correctly.
???? Keeping abreast of all existing and development projects.
???? Assist and strategize in developing new programs and income generating ideas
Develop and maintain long-term business relationships with key clients in order to maintain and grow the business.
???? To assign outsourcing (where applicable) with third party agencies to ensure that the media sales business is contractually linked to the best business results.
???? Comply with procedures to ensure that the team is operating within established standards with internal audit and requirements as per DOA.
???? Report on a monthly basis, actual against budget and expected income quarterly. Closely monitors, in coordination with Finance, all debtors and collections.
???? Hire the appropriate work team to achieve the general objectives of the program.
???? Performs other tasks as assigned
???? Develop strategies to meet the training and development needs of human resources within the team to ensure effective succession planning.

salary:

55,000 dirhams per month, including fixed allowances.

The ideal candidate will come from a strong retail leasing background with a proven track record of managing people and closing deals, specialist leasing experience is highly preferred but if someone has a lot of major experience in retail leasing and would like to move to this more specialized area then they will be considered
