Head of Public Relations and Events – Financial Sector (with Global Travel)
This role will expand your profile outside the Middle East region into a truly global event manager position. You will travel extensively to the USA, UK and Africa to develop a deep understanding of branding strategies, PR and event visibility for client events, which will be attended by VIPs and high net worth singles in business, finance and investment.
You will be an exceptionally dynamic individual with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, able to navigate your way through the demands of complex events, and as such you will have significant client-facing experience and knowledge of the financial and investment sector. A successful event manager is accustomed to managing corporate events in an ever-evolving and adaptable business as the world develops advanced technologies and fintech capabilities, a successful event manager will have a great deal of business acumen and current knowledge of the global economy. You will constantly strive to research the latest industry and business innovations around the world.
Communicate directly with clients to discuss complex international and corporate conferences, promotional tours, teaching, and roundtable events, you will manage high-impact delegations globally to plan, oversee and execute. In addition, the event manager will also research and maintain knowledge of the target audience, investor profiles, fundraising and agenda creation capabilities, all marketing materials and manage the complete public offering for each event.
Managing the budget and liaising with all vendors and suppliers to ensure excellent quality of goods and services at all times is an essential part of this unique role. On the day of the event, you will be there to ensure a smooth activity for all participants, so you are expected to pay great attention to detail, leaving nothing to chance. After the event, a full evaluation analysis will also be conducted to increase participation in the future and create a stable environment of continuous improvement.
An exceptionally talented Finance Sector Events Manager, we are asking for those who will be highly successful in this role. You will possess high levels of integrity, wisdom and sound judgment and will be able to easily manage all stakeholders and major clients to influence the decision making process and be seen by all as an industry expert. Through excellent communication skills (particularly the Arabic and French languages are very useful), you will interact with policy makers, innovators and academics on complex issues. A hands-on approach and remaining a proficient professional is required at all times.
