Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, the Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for:
* Responsible for the financial management and financial reporting of the organization’s offshore companies located in Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman
* Formulate and implement strategies to facilitate money management with various stakeholders
* Handle and monitor the cash flow planning and money management process at every stage of the project (from bidding to implementation to completion)
* Reviewing the reports submitted by the team, analyzing the results afterwards and making recommendations to the head of the department
* Implementation of a reporting mechanism to measure the financial health of business units and departments. Then, periodically attend department meetings and highlight any concerns
* Assist the various departments in formulating the annual budget and ensure that it is prepared in an accurate and timely manner
* Ensure that all financial statements are accurately reported and recorded by the team in accordance with IFRS
* Measure the effectiveness of current operations and internal controls. Next, make recommendations for improvement
* Drafting best practices to simplify business activities and enhance an environment for continuous development

The ideal candidate for this role:
* Bachelor’s/Master’s degree with professional qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA)
* At least 15 years of experience of which at least 7-10 years in a management role
* B2B industry experience (industrial, engineering or manufacturing groups preferred)
* Experience of the Big Four for at least 2-3 years
* You must be willing to travel to Qatar, UAE and Oman
* Strong leadership skill with the ability to manage over 15 senior professionals
