Gulf Air Participates in Global Aerospace Summit 2022

Manama, June 5 (BNA) Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, recently participated in the World Aviation and Space Summit 2022 at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

A large number of ministers, ambassadors, CEOs and officials responsible for the aviation and aviation sectors participated in the event, in addition to more than 1,000 senior leaders and more than 120 expert speakers.

Gulf Air’s acting CEO, Captain Walid Al-Alawi, participated in a session on market growth after the pandemic, in which he spoke about Gulf Air’s contributions during the pandemic and the challenges that the national carrier has overcome in the wake of that global crisis. Captain Al Alawi also spoke about the future of aviation, Gulf Air’s growth plans and its continuous efforts to develop and improve its products and services. He also thanked Mubadala Investment Company in the United Arab Emirates for hosting the fruitful summit that brought together various practitioners and those interested in the fields of aviation and aviation under one roof for the purpose of dialogue and communication about everything related to the two fields and the means for their development. In addition, Captain Al Alawi held a number of one-on-one meetings with his counterparts from industry leaders, where avenues of mutual cooperation were discussed.

The World Space Summit 2022 is the sixth edition of the summit that is held every two years; Expert speakers engage the audience with over 30 hours of exclusive insights, panel discussions, and workshops that will help shape the future of the industry.
