Gulf Air operates Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner from Istanbul to complete snowstorm recovery activity

Manama, Jan. 28 (BNA) Bahrain’s national carrier Gulf Air said it has completed the repatriation of all stranded passengers from Istanbul due to severe snowstorms.

The company said it has operated its flagship Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to accommodate all stranded passengers.

“Gulf Air would like to apologize once again for any inconvenience caused by this unfortunate event beyond its control,” the airline said.

“We would like to thank passengers for their patience and understanding, and all relevant authorities who have cooperated with the airline to end this situation and help flights return to their usual schedule.”
