Job Title: Graphic Designer
Reporting to: Director of Corporate Communications

Basic tasks

• Understand the creative and commercial needs to determine the presentation of illustrative and copying materials in order to design an approximate layout of art and copy with respect to arrangement, scale, scale, style, and related aesthetic concepts.
• Develop innovative ideas and topics in the form of graphs for corporate and project requirements.
• Prepare drawings and layouts for all visual communication materials such as branding, advertisements and marketing collateral.
• Create ad designs, web designs, and sample layouts based on knowledge of planning principles and design concepts.
• Designing all communication materials for internal and external use, in addition to electronic and hard copies of communication and marketing materials.
• Research and keep abreast of the latest designs, market trends, developments in information technology and customer preferences.
• Determine specifications and materials for all printing guarantees.
• Oversee printing needs of communication materials as per corporate specifications and guidelines, and coordinate between internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Work closely with the Communications Department to ensure that the content on designs is well written and aligned with the company’s communications strategy.
• Coordinate with agencies and suppliers for the effective implementation of promotional activities, marketing events and the production of warranties.
• Work with them to design and innovate upcoming campaigns/events and promotional materials to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Maintain records of marketing expenses and agency fees and regularly update management on budget expenses and total costs.
• Ensure that campaign designs are visualized on time in order to obtain collateral for corporate or project marketing materials, advertisements, etc.
• Ensure adherence to company brand guidelines (brand layout and presentation, media preference, media purchase/layout rules, etc.) in all marketing initiatives.
• Support the Marketing and Communications Managers in identifying vendors for specific services and developing long-term relationships on behalf of the company.
• Support development in clarifying and designing floor plans as well as visual and architectural materials.
• Support all departments with graphic design, presentations and printing.
• Source suppliers of gifts and presents for corporate projects.
• Assist company communications with company events through planning, organization and execution.
• Perform other responsibilities and tasks as required or as directed by AVP – Marketing.
• Setting performance goals at the beginning of the year after discussion with his direct manager and ensuring that the goals are achieved during the year

Candidate Profile

• Bilingual (English and Arabic) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with specialization in Graphic Design, Higher Diploma an added advantage
• 5+ years experience in a similar field
• Previous experience in advertising, web design and animation and has experience in branding and re-branding
• Familiar with Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an added value. Written and spoken English are essential, Arabic is preferred
• The written and spoken English language is necessary, and the use of Arabic is preferred.
