We are recruiting an ambitious and forward-thinking Graduate MEP Engineer to join our well-established and growing team in Oman.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Assist in supervising consultants, designers, major contractors and MEP subcontractors.
• Support the MEP team in conducting technical reviews and compliance checks for contractor submissions.
• Implement standard procedures to monitor the progress of planning, design and construction phases.
• Communicate with project designers and contractor to coordinate design intent with construction delivery.
• Prepare reports for the project manager and client indicating adherence to procedures and project progress.
• Ensure periodic inspection of construction activities, compile non-compliance reports as required and recommend appropriate follow-up actions.
• Ensure compliance of the main contractor with project plans and specifications.
• Seeking to ensure that project objectives are achieved on time and at project cost.
• Implementation and follow-up of quality assurance and health and safety program procedures.
• Preparing daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Assist in the development and implementation of claims avoidance and mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the procurement of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, cost and commercial support to the commercial advisory team.
• Act as the focal point for the client and external teams.
• Being responsible for the delivery of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) projects on projects from design to commissioning and handover.
• Commercial management of the project.
