The association said in a press release that the nominations will be announced on December 13 and that it will host the 79th annual Golden Globes on January 9.

The Golden Globes, attended by A-list stars and industry executives, established itself as one of Hollywood’s biggest annual awards shows in the run-up to the Oscars.
