Global Index Ranks Bahrain “First” in the Global COVID-19 Recovery Rate

Manama, December 6 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain ranked first in the world in the Nikkei index for recovering from Covid-19 disease for the month of November 2021, after the decrease in the number of active cases of Covid-19 virus, the increase in the spread of vaccinations, and the rate of vaccination spread. Continued adherence to health precautionary measures aimed at mitigating COVID-19.

Bahrain’s performance, ranked first out of 122 countries, shows the kingdom’s progressive role in spearheading COVID-19 mitigation efforts.

The global classification comes in the wake of Bahrain’s efforts to exceed three million vaccination doses against the Corona virus (the first, second and booster doses), according to the statistics of the Kingdom’s Ministry of Health.

The index ranks 122 countries across three categories: infection management, vaccine releases, and social mobility at the end of each month.
