Global COVID-19 caseload crosses 555.4 million

Washington, July 11 (BUS): The total number of people infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has exceeded 555, 454 and 658 worldwide.

According to updated statistics released today by Johns Hopkins University, USA. 6,351,181 people have died from the pandemic.

The United States recorded the largest number of infections around the world, exceeding 88.5 million cases, followed by India and Brazil, which exceeded 43.6 million and 32.8 million, respectively.

The United States topped the list of countries in terms of the number of deaths due to infection with the virus, with more than one million deaths. It is followed by Brazil, with 673, 610 deaths, and India, with a total of 525,454 deaths.
