Manama, September 28 (BNA): GFH Financial Group BSC (GFH) today announced the appointment of Mr. Tariq Al-Samahiji as Chief Executive Officer of GFH’s UK operations.

Mr. Al-Samahiji will be responsible for driving the further expansion of GFH’s international presence. He brings more than two decades of experience in the global banking sector across asset management, capital markets, Islamic finance and credit. GFH was registered in the UK as a representative office of its headquarters in Bahrain in April 2019 and continued in December 2020 to acquire a majority stake in Roebuck Asset Management, a leading real estate asset management company focused on logistics and business in the UK and Europe, strengthening its presence in these key markets and emphasizing the Group’s continued efforts and success in effective diversification across asset classes and geographies.
