Generalist HR Manager- Saudi National | Job in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia by Irwin & Dow | GulfTalent

The Saudi market continues to grow for our professional services clients, therefore they require an experienced National Saudi HR Manager to oversee a team of 25-30 employees per day in Riyadh. However, this is a busy office and another increase in the team’s numbers is expected over the next 12 months. This role will be the largest HR function in Saudi Arabia and will report to the Regional HR team in Dubai. This rapidly developing and ever-evolving role requires those with a highly practical approach, a tireless attitude and ability to assist the wider UAE team when needed.
Develop and adapt policies and procedures to ensure that they are best suited to the labor law in Saudi Arabia, and will work in a highly collaborative manner to ensure that all aspects of the HR function are complaint and robust. Given the daily needs of an employee, you will be responsible for guiding them primarily through their life cycle including daily HR tasks such as; Entry applications, administration and documentation, annual leave and absence management, payroll inquiries, performance reviews and any related issues, annual reviews, employee engagement and development, decommissioning and completion of their end-of-service requirements. Therefore, the HR Manager will have strong qualities to build relationships, not only with the local team but also with the regional HR team and seniors in Dubai.
As the Riyadh team grows, it will also be involved in recruiting both previous sponsors and Saudi nationals in order to support the larger recruitment team, also located in Dubai. Therefore, you must have a good all-round knowledge of Saudization objectives and legal requirements and possess general recruitment skills.

It is imperative that the selected Saudi HR Manager has a minimum of 4 years overall experience in HR and accept all tasks involved, including managing day-to-day HR, employee lifecycle and supporting broader HR teams when necessary. Ideally, with a relevant HR degree or CIPD qualification, you will be focused and collaborative in your approach and able to manage a range of HR disciplines in a professional services environment. You will also have excellent communication abilities in English and will be active and engaged to be seen as the HR expert for the Riyadh team.
