Work responsibilities:
• Supervising and processing the petty cash fund request and disbursing expenses to the petty cash holder.
• Maintaining purchase orders system.
• Ensure that data is entered into the system.
• Preparing, analyzing and reporting weekly, monthly and quarterly gross margin analysis by brand and by customer type
• Assisting in month-end closing, preparing journal entries as necessary, stock valuation analysis, and rolling stock forward
• Assists in providing information to prepare audits.
• Preparing and communicating with the monthly petty cash analysis and preparing various reports on petty cash and making a recommendation on the reduction of excess expenses.
• Reconcile financial variances in head expenses by collecting and analyzing account information and reporting to the Finance Manager.
• Ensure that accounting entries are directed and posted to the correct accounts.
• Receiving the delivery order from the store and checking it against the available stock.
• A statement of account related to the local payment and a statement related to the external payment on a monthly basis.
• Assist the Finance Manager to carry out the operational activities of the accounts department.
• Preparing and reconciling bank account statements.
• Create and maintain supplier accounts.
• When required, any other task assigned by the “Director of Financial Affairs”.
Eligible:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a reputable institute or any accounting degree from a recognized professional body.
• expertise:
• Four (4) years of experience in accounts and finance functions, including one year as a general accountant in a reputable manufacturing establishment.
• Experience in the accounts department for paint manufacturing companies in Egypt will be an advantage over other candidates.
