Manama, June 5 (BNA): Minister of Industry and Trade, Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, met with Dr. Rajaa Al-Marzouqi, General Coordinator for Negotiations and Head of the Negotiation Team for the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
Fakhro congratulated Marzouki for the confidence he received from the GCC Ministerial Council, wishing him success in his position.
The minister stressed the pivotal role of the negotiating team in preparing the appropriate ground to advance unified Gulf economic efforts to form strategic partnerships with international economic blocs, thus contributing to advancing the process of economic integration through joint plans and programs among the GCC states.
The meeting discussed the work of the negotiating team and other matters of common interest.
