GCC Ambassadors, Permanent Representatives to IAEA hold their regular meeting

GCC Ambassadors, Permanent Representatives to IAEA hold their regular meeting- The Council of Ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the permanent delegates to Vienna held their regular meeting at the United Nations building in Vienna headed by Ambassador Dr. Youssef Abdul Karim Bucheery, the permanent representative of the Gulf Cooperation Council. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 65th annual regular session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency, which was held from 20-24 September 2021, with the participation of the Permanent Mission of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf in Vienna.

The Council of Ambassadors congratulated His Excellency Ambassador Sadiq Marafie, the sisterly State of Kuwait on assuming the presidency of the current session of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

The Council also congratulated the head of the GCC mission in Vienna, Ambassador Dr. Ali Al-Jowder, for assuming the duties of the United Nations and other international organizations.

Ambassador Bucceri wished the ambassadors of the missions of the sisterly countries continued success and success in the conference and their tasks.

The ambassadors discussed topics on the agenda of the conference and coordinating the Gulf position on them, in addition to ways to enhance Gulf action and the most important issues and priorities related to the role of the Cooperation Council in the multilateral arena in Vienna.
