Front office assistants are responsible for serving as the front of the resort, answering and responding to internal and external guest needs, providing outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Main objectives:
Welcoming guests at the resort with a real warm welcome.
Ability to deliver a dynamic customer service experience by assisting guests with check-in/out procedures and inquiries.
– Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Works effectively in a team environment.

Main duties:
– Register guests, ensure proper credit is received, register and fulfill special requests, and provide accurate information
Maintain and improve the quality of the guest experience
– Process all payments according to specific hotel requirements
Providing information and assistance to all guests and visitors
Provide prompt, courteous and efficient processing of all guest room reservation requests, changes, cancellations and information
– Provides fast, courteous and efficient handling of all incoming calls and assistance for outgoing calls occurring through the PBX
Play an integral role in emergency assistance (fire, medical, power/system outage) by calling assigned personnel for immediate assistance.
– Assist guest services, safety services, housekeeping, engineering team
– Maintain confidentiality for all guests
Must be able to multi-task and prioritize departmental jobs to meet deadlines

Health and safety:

You are responsible for all aspects of health, safety and security within your team, in line with Group Policy (HS001). In particular, you must ensure that risk assessments are carried out, that safe work procedures are in place for all work activities and that all employees responsible for you are aware of the Group Health, Safety and Security Policy and their obligations under it. You should ensure that safe work practices are observed and that risk assessments and procedures are regularly reviewed. Should accidents occur, you must ensure that they are investigated appropriately and that corrective action is taken when necessary to ensure that such incidents do not recur.

To be eligible for this role, you must possess the following criteria:

High school diploma or equivalent experience required
1 – 3 years experience in a hotel front desk.
Preferred candidate will have experience with OPERA Property Management System or equivalent.
– Should be able to speak English clearly and fluently.
Preferred candidate has the ability to speak at least one other language, Arabic, French, Russian, Mandarin, fluently.
– Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional behavior
– Ability to communicate effectively with others orally and in writing.
Must have excellent customer service skills, proven conflict resolution skills, and proven leadership skills to drive initiatives for team and business improvement.
