Paris, Nov. 14 (BNA): The British and French Home Ministers signed an agreement Monday that will see more police patrolling beaches in northern France in a bid to stop people trying to cross the English Channel in small boats as a regular source of friction. Between the two countries.
The British government said it agreed to pay France 72.2 million euros ($75 million) in 2022-2023, nearly 10 million euros more than an existing agreement in exchange for France increasing security patrols along the coast by 40%.
