Forever Green campaign reaches more community segments

Manama, Mar. 6 (BNA): Caf Humanity, in cooperation with the National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD), received 170 seedlings provided by Abu Saiba plants and flowers, as part of the second phase of the national campaign “Green Forever”. To expand green spaces in the Kingdom.

The nursery’s generous contribution came in support of the campaign launched under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, consort of the King of the State and Chairperson of the Consultative Council, Nyad, to increase green spaces, protect the environment and enhance air. The Kaf Humanitarian Initiative focused on greening the homes of needy families, expanding the circle of various groups of Bahraini society benefiting from the campaign, achieving sustainable development goals, and deepening the culture of environmental protection.

Mohamed Jassim Sayyar, Chief Executive Officer of Humanitarian Aid at CAF, praised Forever Green as an outstanding initiative that promotes, among other goals, volunteering in the environment and agriculture.

He added that Qaf’s participation seeks to contribute to Bahrain’s achievement of its environmental goals.
