Foreign Minister visits Bahrain, UAE pavilions at Expo 2020 Dubai

Dubai, November 13 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani visited today the pavilion of the Kingdom of Bahrain participating in Expo 2020 Dubai, under the slogan “Opportunities of Changing Density”.

His Excellency toured the pavilion and reviewed the exhibits that represent the Kingdom’s cultural heritage with its well-known monuments and diversity, which reflects the plurality of the Kingdom’s successive civilizations and cultures. The pavilion’s supervisors were also briefed on the programmes, accompanying events, and traditional industries and professions that attracted the attention of visitors from all over the world.

Dr. Al-Zayani expressed his appreciation for the Kingdom’s pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, praising the distinguished architectural design of the building, and the dedicated efforts made by the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities to enrich the Kingdom’s participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, and to achieve excellence in the show. He also praised the participation of a group of young volunteers in organizing the pavilion, which expresses their eagerness to contribute to serving their country sincerely.

The minister also visited the UAE pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, where he was briefed by his officials about its contents and heritage design that reflects the UAE’s past, present and future.

Dr. Al Zayani expressed his admiration for what was included in the UAE pavilion and its exhibits, which reflected the ancient past and the country’s efforts to keep pace with the times and look to the future.

He also expressed his appreciation to the wise leadership of the United Arab Emirates for the great efforts made to organize Expo 2020 Dubai, with this high civilized level of preparation, wishing the UAE, its leadership and people further progress and prosperity.
