Manama, November 24 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani received today in his office at the Ministry the Chargé d’Affairs of the Embassy of the State of Israel in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Itai Tagner on the occasion of the end of his tenure in the Kingdom.
During the meeting, the foreign minister praised the efforts made by the Israeli diplomat in strengthening bilateral relations. He stressed the importance of developing those relations and the need to strengthen efforts to promote peace, development and stability in the region within the framework of the Declaration of Support for Peace and the Ibrahim Accords. He wished the Chargé d’Affairs success in his future assignments.
For his part, the Israeli Chargé d’Affairs expressed his thanks and appreciation for the cooperation and support he received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its officials in order to support its diplomatic missions, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of Ministry Affairs, Talal Al-Ansari.
