Manama on February 9 (US): Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani received at the ministry today, Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Yael Lambert, on the occasion of her visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
They discussed the historical friendly relations and the strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America. They also reviewed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation to serve common interests, and they discussed developing joint coordination to confront regional political and security challenges and enhance peace and security.
A number of regional and international issues of common interest were also reviewed.
The meeting was attended by Chief of American Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali Al Khalifa and US Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Stephen C. Bundy.
