Foreign Minister participates in GCC Ministerial Council meeting

Riyadh, June 1 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani participated in the meeting of the 152nd session of the Ministerial Council of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, which was held today at the headquarters. The General Secretariat in Riyadh. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Chairman of the current session of the Ministerial Council, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, in the presence of Their Highnesses and Excellencies the Ministers of Foreign Affairs. The Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, with the participation of the Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council, Dr. Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf.

During the meeting, the foreign ministers reviewed the topics on the agenda, and the decisions that were implemented by the Supreme Council and the Ministerial Council to promote Gulf integration and cooperation in various fields. They also discussed the recommendations submitted by the relevant ministerial committees and the reports prepared by the General Secretariat on issues and topics related to strengthening the process of joint Gulf action.

They also discussed the latest developments in strategic dialogues between the GCC states and international countries and blocs, and what has been achieved in free trade negotiations with brotherly and friendly countries, in addition to the latest regional and international developments.

The delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain, which participated in the meeting, included the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh. Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Gulf Cooperation Council Affairs, Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Eid.
