London, July 5 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani met in London today, the Special Representative of the Prime Minister and Minister of State for South and Central Asia, the United Nations and the Commonwealth in London. Foreign, Commonwealth Office and Development (FCDO), Lord Ahmed Tariq Ahmed, during the Conference on Freedom of Religion or Belief, held in London.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom and their development and ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields.
The meeting affirmed joint efforts to enhance the existing cooperation between the two countries in the field of human rights protection, and to promote the values of tolerance and coexistence between followers of religions and beliefs.
The meeting was attended by the director general of the ministry’s affairs, Ambassador Talal Abdul Salam Al-Ansari, and the delegation accompanying the minister.
