Geneva, Feb. 28 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, met today with Geneva, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of European and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, Tania Vagon, on the sidelines of his participation in the high-level segment – the fifty-second regular session of the Human Rights Council.
During the meeting, they reviewed the existing friendship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Slovenia, and ways to enhance joint cooperation in various fields. Human rights issues of common interest were also discussed.
The meeting was attended by the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in Geneva, Dr. Abdul Karim Bucheery, and the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Talal Abdulsalam Al-Ansaei, and the accompanying delegation.
