New York, September 24 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani met today at the headquarters of the Singapore Mission to the United Nations, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore. HE Mr. Vivian Balakrishnan on the sidelines of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs praised the advanced level of relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Singapore in all fields, pointing to the remarkable development witnessed in recent years, expressing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to continue efforts to push bilateral cooperation between the two countries forward for broader horizons.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore praised the course of the existing relations between the Kingdom and Singapore and the development they are witnessing at all levels, expressing his country’s keenness to strengthen these relations to serve the interests of the two countries and peoples.
A number of political topics and issues of common interest were also discussed.
The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Sheikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in New York, and His Excellency Ambassador Jamal Faris Al Khalifa. Al-Ruwaei and Acting Head of the Organizations Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, HE Ambassador Sheikha Aisha bint Ahmed Al Khalifa.
