Foreign Minister meets German counterpart

Berlin, March 29 (BNA) Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani met today with his German counterpart Annalina Barbock on the sidelines of the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue Conference.

Dr. Al-Zayani expressed his thanks and appreciation to his counterpart for her kind invitation to participate in this important international conference hosted by Germany at a time when the energy issue is a global priority due to its impact on the global economy, environment and climate. and sustainable development.

He praised the joint cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields, stressing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation with Germany to more comprehensive levels that would achieve the common interests of the two friendly countries.

The German minister welcomed Dr. Al-Zayani’s visit and participation in the conference, praising the growing joint cooperation between the two friendly countries.

She stressed her country’s interest in developing bilateral cooperation, and the continuation of joint communication and coordination on issues related to maintaining security, and praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain and its keenness to move forward in promoting peace, stability and prosperity in the Middle East, wishing Bahrain continued progress and development.

The two sides discussed the close friendship relations between the two friendly countries and ways to develop joint cooperation in various fields to serve the interests of the two friendly countries and peoples.
